Extended Function Dental Radiology
EFDA Certification Course

Florida State law requires all dental assistants to be professionally trained. The dental assistant must have both the EFDA certification and the Radiology certification to be employed in the dental office

Dental Careers School of Tampa Bay is pleased to offer a two day combination course for certification. This is NOT a training or teaching course. The course is designed to “Certify” de dental assistant that has the knowledge and skills necessary to complete the required EFDA and Radiology duties. 

Course Eligibility Requirements:

  • Prior professional training in all of the Expanded Function and Radiology duties.
  • A minimum of 3 month employment in dental office performing these duties

Course Information

  • Course is held on 2 Saturdays from 9 AM - 4 PM, at our dental facility
  • Tuition is $950.00 (no additional fees for equipment)

 All information is presented prior to the exams. There is no online portion to worry about, so this make it simple and easy to demonstrate your knowledge and skills.
